Megan O’Donoghue (born September 27th, 1984) is an American vocalist, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actress.  Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, O’Donoghue was classically trained as a vocalist in her youth, and became widely know for her work in Indonesia as a singer and actress in traditional Javanese theater.
She released her debut album Peshawar in 2015 to critical acclaim, the Indonesian news syndicate TEMPO calling it “a hauntingly beautiful conglomeration of ear-mystifying genre and poetic fantasy- plucked strings, flutes, rebab, skin drums and piano surround her twisting vocal melodies.” (translated)
Beginning in July of 2018, O’Donoghue is set to release a series of stand-alone singles based around the keyboard. Described as “medieval Jazz,”  O’Donoghue says, “this music comes from my stepping deeper into my own dreams and religion with my piano. It’s the Jungian-Islamic-Feminist landscape of my inner world.”
O’Donoghue lives with her daughter in the Bay Area of California.
